#3 Street Style

Make a Statement!

This past week I decided to go and scour the streets of New York City in order to find the latest trends people are wearing.  I found that since it is still chilly, most New Yorkers are still putting on those statement coats and boots.  I went to the corner of 5th avenue and 57th street across from Central Park and Bergdorf Goodman around 1 o'clock when all of the fabulous people go out for the lunch break for some shopping!

Here are some of the statement pieces I found:

Angular Cut Coat

Bright Color

Wedged Booties

Combination Fur and Leather Vest

Rockin' the Studs!

Color Blocking
Houndstooth!

Studded Boots found on the Subway!

Jason Wu Causes Target's Website to CRASH! ....AGAIN!

As I mentioned in my earlier post Jason Wu created a collection for Target, and even though the Target corporation took precautions, the website still crashed after only a few hours of being launched.  The company had created a plan to try and limit the amount of items each customer could purchase, but not every store followed it.  The website became back in action after a couple of days of being inactivated, which made those of us eager to purchase the clothing very happy!

Spring 2012 Key Trend

COBALT BLUE!

In every store there has been a huge appearance of garment items printed in the color cobalt blue.  I would have to say that this is a hot trend for Spring 2012 because it is a color that has not been popular for a long time and it looks great on just about everyone!

Jason Wu Collection For Target Is Finally Here!

Here are a few of the looks taken from the Jason Wu for Target look book, I am very excited for this collection and can't wait for my chance to start shopping on the website!  The clean cut lines and the simplicity of the pieces Jason Wu creates are similar to my own style and what I enjoy to wear.

CollegeFashion.net

This blog is great for any girl in any year of her college career, its gives great advice on how to deal with midterms and roommate problems.  The most interesting part of this blog is when it features postings on outfit ideas.  They will post a picture of a celebrity, cartoon character, or movie character and give you great outfit ideas for less.
